Frequently asked questions
What is Maxwell 19 versus 20 versus 21?
Maxwell 19 is the original superfood porridge — Moringa, Baobab, honey, coconut, and cinnamon, with no preservatives or colourants. On the Go 20 is the Rotary-endorsed, gluten-free, vitamin-fortified everyday porridge. Maxwell 21 is the high-fibre, very-low-sodium bowl with Moringa, Baobab, and Spekboom.
Are the meals instant?
Yes. The health meals are pre-cooked. Mix 1 part meal with 2 parts water — about 50 g to 100 ml — hot or cold. A 5 kg bag with 10 L water serves a group of about 75.
Do you use preservatives or colourants?
Maxwell 19 lists no preservatives, flavourings, or colourants. Wellness shots and supplement sachets are sugar-free and preservative-free. Always read the ingredients on the product page for the SKU you are buying.
Are products diabetic-friendly or gluten-free?
Maxwell 19 and On the Go 20 are described as diabetic-friendly. On the Go 20 and Maxwell 21 are gluten-free. These are formulation notes, not medical advice — please check with your clinician if you have a diagnosed condition.
What allergens should I know about?
The porridges contain soya and milk, and are made in a factory that uses peanuts and tree nuts. Rice meals contain soya. Full allergen lines sit on each product page.
What is in a monthly pack?
The Health Pack is a month of Health Meal, Wellness Shots, 31 supplement sachets, and water drops — assessed in a University of Pretoria physiology trial. The Food Pack is On the Go 20, rice meals, sachets, vitamin C·D3·zinc, and water drops. Contents can be tailored for wholesale buyers.
Do the water drops really treat a litre per drop?
That is the specified dose. The drops have been tested by SABS and ERWAT and accredited with CSIR. They use copper, zinc, and silver. Follow the bottle directions and treat water as part of a broader hygiene practice.
Can I buy wholesale or export?
Yes. Porridges pack in 500 g, 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg. Rice meals also ship in 500 g and 2.5 kg. Factory capacity is built for programme and export volumes, including a West Africa distribution agreement. Use the Wholesale page.
Are these medicines?
No. Maxwell products are foods and complementary nutritional products. They are not medicines and are not offered as a treatment or cure for any disease.
