The original Maxwell health meal — pre-cooked maize with honey powder, Moringa, Baobab, coconut, and cinnamon. All-natural, high in vitamins and minerals, with no preservatives, flavourings, or colourants.

Technical sheet — ingredients, nutrition, and use

  • • 13.7 g protein per 3.5 oz from maize, sorghum, and soya isolate
  • • Moringa and Baobab for mineral density and a clean, green-citrus character
  • • Honey powder and cinnamon instead of a heavy sugar load
  • • No preservatives, flavourings, or colourants

What's in this

Moringa (mor-ING-uh)

A green leaf powder cooked into Maxwell 19 and 21 — food you stir into a maize-and-soya meal, not a mystery capsule.

  • • Leaf powder unusually dense in minerals and plant protein for a green powder.
  • • Gently green flavour; the job is everyday micronutrient density you can eat.
  • • Used as food on the Maxwell 19 and 21 labels, beside Baobab.

Moringa leaves have long been eaten as food across South Asia and Africa. Maxwell uses the leaf as an African meal ingredient, not a folklore story.

Baobab (BAY-oh-bab)

Dried fruit pulp from the baobab tree — sour-sweet, high in vitamin C and fibre, cooked into Maxwell 19 and 21.

  • • Fruit powder naturally high in vitamin C and dietary fibre.
  • • Sour-sweet character that does not need a flavour house to invent it.
  • • One of the two African trees named on the Maxwell 19 label.

Baobab fruit pulp is a Southern African food. Maxwell uses the powder as fruit in a bowl, not a sweetener stack.

The story

Maxwell 19 is the brand’s signature superfood porridge. It is the meal inside the Health Pack: a warm or cold bowl that leans on two African trees — Moringa and Baobab — plus coconut, honey, and cinnamon. It is formulated as everyday food, not a dessert shake: clean-label, diabetic-friendly, and built for people who want protein and micronutrients without a long ingredient list of additives.

How to use

  1. Ratio: 1 part health meal to 2 parts water. Serve hot or cold.
  2. Single serving: 3 heaped tablespoons (about 1.8 oz / 50 g) in a bowl.
  3. Add 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) boiling water (or cold water for a cold meal).
  4. Stir and serve. Bulk: 11 lb (5 kg) meal into about 2.6 gal (10 L) boiled water, off the heat — about 75 servings.
